  • Liza Mae This is big!!! I've noticed the journalists in UK pull no punches when reporting on maulings and DBRFs. They are not concerned with being PC to appease the "danger dog" lovers and call them devil dogs, beasts, vicious, etc. I have yet to read an article where they made excuses for the dogs.

  • Liza Mae They also do not call maulings "bites." They use much more descriptive terms like savaged, horribly mauled, viciously attacked, etc.

  • Liza Mae Never in Her wildest dreams could Suzie have imagined that dogs could be so intent on their prey that they would do something like this - the maxim "never leave a child unattended" does not address the numerous children attacked with adults right there, and the adults were helpless against the red-zoned pits. Then they downplay the horrific damage by saying, "well of course, they are strong and strong-willed, so naturally they cause more damage. That's the only difference between them and other dogs." Madness.

  • Wayne Webb Wow! Susan Susan DeVilder This man lost his little boy. The innocent , sweet little guy was torn to shreds; can you imagine something like that happening to you? And all you care about is the filthy, puke licking dogs. If I had a magazine, TV station, I would publish his tragic story for FREE.

  • Jeff Borchardt This magazine is the equivalent to the US version "Women's Day"... The article targets the audience we are trying to reach. It will be read by A LOT of mothers. It drives home the message very effectively. AND it mentions Daxtonsfriends.com which helps the UK with the problem they are having with this pit bull name change game.
Welcome to the Daxton’s Friends website! Our goal is to serve as a resource for healthy canine pet ownership,...

  • Liza Mae Susie was lulled by the propaganda. Many pit owners are. I pit myself in danger thinking maybe pits did just get a bad rap, and I quickly found out otherwise!!!!

  • Liza Mae Go to any article about pits, attacking or otherwise, or a Pro pit site or fb page and you will find that 99% of the pit owners stating that their pits are harmless. Because they are, until they aren't one day, the day their "working dog" nature rises its ugly head.

  • Liza Mae That is how they operate. In their minds, it is NEVER because pit bulls were bred (not bread) to willingly go into battle without provocation and to fight to the death, their opponents or their own. The dogmen of Staffordshire knew exactly what they had when they created the pit bull.
