Today at work a customer came in and said, "Guess what I just saw?" In a voice filled with awe. "A BEAUTIFUL PIT BULL," she continues in that same stupid breathy voice. You'd think she just saw Jesus or something. She went to one of my coworkers (my boss, in fact) to be waited on, and my boss replied, "And you know, it's not the animal, it's how they're raised."

Shit. Sometimes I just feel so alone. I'm thankful y'all are here and know better!

Linda Perry I have to agree--WAIT...here's my explanation. If you raise them to keep them in cages that they can't get out of, and double muzzle them when they are outdoors, and keep them in INNER rooms in your homes and not in rooms that lead to front or back doors, and make sure you neuter, spay them, and make sure that they have NO access to babes, toddlers, and innocent bystander adults, and keep a break stick, a gun and maybe a knife nearby, you can keep a pit bull pet and have next to no worries. But who keeps a pet like that? Pits are not pets, they are out-of-control-killer-man-eater wanna-be watchdogs. All opinions valid-this is mine.
