Jeremy Collins the state i live in had good pitbull laws (ohio)most were just common sense i obviously wouldnt live somewhere with a ban but if people are too stupid to act with common sense then the goverment has to set laws so that idiots dont get people especially kids hurt. i respect what my dogs can do and do everything i can to ensure that they are never put into situations where a person or animal could get hurt

Jeremy Collins i definently am in favor of breed nuetral laws to an extent. there is a difference between a agressive poodle and a mean pitbull. maybe stupid people should only own small harmless dogs. i hate animal cruelty, and i consider putting your dog in a situation where it can hurt someone and be put down animal abuse. if you choose to own a breed thats known to be agressive and dont take precautions you should be liable

Jeremy Collins pitbulls are known to cause more damage when they attack they dont attack more but i think its been pretty well proven when they do attack they do more damage. so i think if you have 1 you should be more villigant and carry insurance because they are probably going to do way more damage than a gsd

Jeremy Collins you dont have to worry about me calling you a nutter if you check my profile i have 4 dogs 2 apbt's a pit/lab mix and a elderly boxer we are fostering probably the only breed i will ever own is a pitbull i just think alot of people who have them for the wrong reasons, or dont understand the type of dog they are own them. i have owned them and worked with them at our shelter for 16+ yrs most that i have seen have a high prey drive towards small animals. they are great dogs in the right hands and disasters waiting to happen in the wrong ones.

Jeremy Collins the no kill movement is killing this breed they are putting unsound dogs who should be put down in homes with people who arent qaulified to own them and more and more attacks are happening we as responsible pitbull owners need to change the situation.

Almost a million unwanted pit bulls put to sleep every year. Pit bulls are responsible for the majority of fatalities. We need a breed specific solution. Denying a problem exists does not make it go away.

Jeremy Collins i am a proud pitbull owner loca and i think this page is amusing as hell i agree both sides of the issue could be more civil but you have to understand most anti-pitbull people have lost pets or been attacked or god forbid have lost children and they are not rational about it nor should they be expected to be. i see both sides of the issue and can get along with both but believe or not the anti people are better to talk to

If you don't make outrageous statements, if you don't threaten attack victims, if you don't say that not liking pits is racist, if you don't call dogs nannies, if you can spell bred and breed you won't be featured here. Jeremy Collins the fact that you do research bloodlines and know alot about the breed ,to me anyway makes your dislike of them more legitimate and grounded in facts if that makes sense. you know more than some self professed experts who cant tell the differance between an am staff. and a american bulldog.
