Jeff rarely lets the facts get in the road of a good old fashioned rant and he's at it again claiming that American Bulldogs are American Pit Bull Terriers whereas in reality Abd's where used in creating Apbt's when bred with English terriers.
The Cruel and most harsh reality is that Jeff lost his son in one of the worst ways imaginable "a dog attack' and there's nothing anyone can do no words that anyone can say that can change the tragedy of that day but neither will blaming the rest of the world for what essentially were poor choices made by humans that lead to the death of his son.
It's well documented that breed rarely plays a part in dog bite related fatalities unless humans are a "breed" as the majority of DBRF's (dog bite related fatalities) involve infants or the very old and primarily is caused by these vulnerable individuals being left unattended by carers and/or unsupervised by parents resulting in their tragic but usually avoidable death.

Jeff ends his comment by dropping a link to a blog called "how to kill a pit bull" which is yet another of the long list of propaganda peddling pit bull hating fanatics abusing their rights to freedom of speech. (and oxygen lol) that represent your typical Bsl proponent and they're going to get nastier as more municipalities realize that Breed Specific Legislation doesn't work and repeal it or the state legislates against it.

Jeff has wasted the majority of public donations on highway side billboards featuring a picture of an American Bully's but vilifying American Pit Bull Terriers forcing their few followers to have to actually download and print out their own pamphlets and flyers.
Is it any wonder people are mistaking American Bully's for "pit bulls" the saving grace is that despite all their claims about being the majority the post below has been up for seven months and only has "74 likes" out of an alleged 994 members indicating either only 74 members agree or there's only 74 active members?

Both Jeff & Dogsbite are scrambling to cover their tracks with the Montreal ban being suspended pending an appeal based on the vague wording of the legislation and as the legislation punishes all pet owners and not just pit bull owners it's not expected to pass lawful scrutiny in it's current form and once again the mythical "pit bull lobby" rares it's ugly head.

The majority of pit bulls end up at shelters for the same reasons as the many other breeds and types found in shelters and it's the human factor not only because of breed restrictions obviously anyone saying otherwise is a bold faced liar and obviously thinks the rest of us are silly enough to be fooled into thinking the shelter problem is unique to pit bulls as many breeds find themselves in shelters Chihuahuas for instance have a high intake at shelters too many purebred perfectly healthy dogs end up in shelters for economic reasons there's a lot of people doing it tough out there in the heart land.....
Since releasing her well accepted extremely informative and quick selling book on Pit Bulls the author "Bronwen Dickey" was exposed to the onslaught of these cyber bully's disguising their activities being a noble community cause of victims advocacy whereas they are dangerously delusional extremely fanatic pit bull exterminators.
Jeff had one of his goons attend one of her book signings causing concerns among the organizers resulting in the culprit being escorted from the premises due to the author fearing for her safety.
The abuse continued on social media where Ms Dickey's address was posted with a picture of her residence both of which were promptly removed by Facebook following an onslaught of complaints.
The saving grace in all of this is that at least there's not too many of these fanatics in spite of the members list indicating the PBPMR has 994 members the reality is they have relatively few active members for instance if you look at the post above the little blue number (34) indicates that many members actually "reacted" to the post and only a few of them cared enough to comment.
Jeff is not a victims advocate he hates pit bulls, legitimate public safety advocates support and promote the "Calgary Model" which has lowered both overall bite instances and dog bite fatalities everywhere it's been enacted as opposed to breed specific legislation which according to studies has no discernible affect on either bite instances or dog bite fatalities.
